Our Counselors

There is no health without mental health. Be Mental Health Services’ counselors focus on treating the whole person and helping clients integrate into society.

Autumn Brown, LCSW

My primary focus is on helping you embrace resiliency and daily practices such as confidence, courage, relationships, self-compassion and honoring what you believe in. Doing this will help you to transform into the self you want to be.

I specialize in support for those dealing with struggles such as: depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, trauma, difficulty adjusting to new roles, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with youth struggling with negative behaviors such as self-harming, suicidal ideation resulting from depression, anxiety, and problems in relationships with family and peers. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and removal from their homes. I have a special place in my heart for young people and the matters they struggle with. I am passionate about helping people recognize who they were created to be.

We will work together to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back and then help you identify and implement the new choices and practices that will help you to walk in your purpose.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University.

I have received training focusing on working with survivors of trauma (Trauma Informed Care), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.

Ashley Pendelbury, LMHC

I have a passion for working with children, teens, young adults, and their families to help them discover themselves and heal from their pain.  Through my work, I have enjoyed seeing the progress young people can make in healing themselves, their relationships with families and friends, and helping them discover themselves.

I will work with you to help you identify and overcome the barriers you are facing in your life to help you be happier, more confident, and improve your relationships.  I work collaboratively with you to identify and work through the emotions, behaviors, and thoughts related to your past, present, and upcoming life transitions that are holding you back.  Together, we will work to help you identify and use your strengths and supports to overcome the barriers you are currently facing.

I earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis.  I have received training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.  I have experience working with children and teens who have experienced behavioral problems at home or at school, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, removal from their homes, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and actions, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, depression, and anxiety.
